“If you can do what you do best and be happy, you’re further along in life than most people.” – Leonardo DiCaprio
When young people come to a certain age where they have to choose which direction to go in life, they are being influenced by many different people. When you had to choose an education and a university, your parents probably advised on which education brings the most job security or status. The choice of your older brother or sister might have also had a certain influence on your decision. And not unimportant, what were your close friends doing? Unfortunately, all of this often leads to wrong choices in life because the only person that should make a decision about your future, is you, and not your parents, siblings or friends.
Think about what you are good at, even if it is not considered as a job with high status or pay. Follow your heart when making a choice about your studies or profession. If you do just that, you are further along in life than most people. Many people do what others expect from them and they end up being unhappy for not following their dreams.
