“Some people say I have attitude – maybe I do… but I think you have to. You have to believe in yourself when no one else does – that makes you a winner right there.” – Venus Williams
Many people will discourage you and try to drag you down in life. They do this because they are simply jealous of your achievements or what you could potentially achieve in the future. Do not let these bad people limit your chances in life. You need to realise that you will often be the only one who believes in yourself and your abilities. If you let others convince you that you will not succeed, they will be right about you.
It is often a thin line between being confident and being arrogant. Famous soccer players like Christiano Ronaldo or Zlatan Ibrahimovic believe in themselves to the point that they look incredibly arrogant to most of us. That arrogance is some sort of defence mechanism. When you read up on both players’ activities and behavious outside of the field, you will notice that they are actually very down to earth and kind people . These famous sportsmen deal with a lot of criticism and pressure from outside. You need to show confidence and attitude or you will collapse under the enormous pressure.
